Counter Strike 2, one of those games probably everyone knows. Always loved playing this game, purely for its competitveness. But, the shift from Global Offensive to 2 has been rough for me. This might be in my head or because I treat it like the same game, eventhough it is completely different. The tickless "what you see is what you get" feels a bit like a free to play indie shooter.. And while there's nothing wrong with that feeling, I felt like it is a step down from Global Offensive. At the same time, I know the development team is working hard to get it working perfectly.
The game took a big step up visually, the lighting is great and I'm a bit fan of the volumetric smokes. Counter Strike will always have this special place in my heart where I always go back to.
